Breastfeeding has made news across Europe. The image above is from the cover of this week’s Polish magazine, Wprost supposedly making a statement about the relationship between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Poland’s governing Kaczynski twins, Prime Minister Jaroslaw and President Lech. It might surprise you to know that Wprost likes to stir the pot, usually achieved simply by making caricatures of German politicians with references to Nazi Germany.
Wprost reckons the image says… male politicians act like babies? No. They actually think it says Germany should stop treating Poland like an inferior step-child. Whaaat? Personally I think the image says Wprost needs to get its good self some time on the couch with an analyst, probably a Freudian one because I think its got some unresolved issues with the lady politicians and maybe with the bosoms too.
Merkel being a female politician this isn’t the first time her body has been the stuff of ridicule – Britain’s Sun tabloid once printed unflattering photographs of her on an Italian beach with a stupid headline.
