Milestone 1 – cut a tooth. You’re not even four months old and you already don’t look like a newborn, how is having a tooth going to help?

Milestone 2 – with a full tummy you were patted off to sleep on the bed (No Cry Sleep Solution, thanks again Elizabeth Pantley), not breastfed to sleep and not walked off to sleep, and given that you are already 8 kgs (and my arms are as weak as twigs) this is an excellent milestone to reach.

Milestone 3 – slept from 9.30pm until 5.30am. Eight hours, baby!

He’s looking so big. As one of my friends likes to say “like an actual person”, as opposed to a newborn. Way to go on the patting to sleep Cormac!
I am still waiting for my 2.5 year old to do number three on a regular basis. At least nowadays he’s generally cheerful about the going to sleep bit.
EIGHT HOURS! Brilliant baby. And how we love the NCSS …
I am torn between cheering you on and feeling intensely jealous.
My 2.5 year old is yet to EVER sleep for eight hours straight. Not even one night…
yah jealous here….
My 11 month old is still a very random sleeper.
My first baby slept thru from 8 weeks, so with any luck this is the start of ‘sleeping thru’ for you guys.
Oooh handsome!
Very beautiful. You could put pictures of him on chocolate boxes.
Love that sweet little sleeping baby picture.
Did you do the patting? If so I am deeply impressed. We use the NCSS but still only Daddy can put my baby to sleep without a fuss – and he is 14 months!
What a beautiful baby. Why are they so beautiful when sleeping?
He looks so adorable, what a beautiful little man!
Ok. You have cocnvinced me to check out Pantley.
