
Not because it is a gown as such, but because father can hardly be bothered even wearing shoes. “I don’t like hoo har, whereas you love all that hoo har”.
(Well, well, well. I just looked up my spelling of ‘hoo har’, meaning pomp and fuss, and turns out the Internet thinks it means ‘vagina’).


My partner is so anti-fuss that our baby’s party wasn’t to be a naming ceremony. We were allowed to call it a Baby Warming. There was no fancy dress, the baby wore his t-shirt that said “It’s ok, I’m with the Band”. Fortunately I am also fairly anti-fuss, so it works out.
Methinks the internet has ‘hoo har’ confused with ‘hoohoo’.
That is a lovely photo and I’m sure it was a beautiful day, well worthy of a bit of hoo har.
I am glad that I am not the only father that has a wife that forced his son to wear a dress! LOL I am happy now finally after 2 sons wearing a dress…wooo hooo
