I am all talked out at the moment.
I have enough words left to say that we really like a good city farm, like this one.

Farms in the city = a good thing. My husband has our three year old at this one (http://www.nps.gov/oxhi/) as we speak. I’m at home with a sleeping seven week old baby and my laptop out. The house is tidy, the dishwasher’s running. I’m having an hour of motherhood bliss right now.
Ohh, we are traveling to Melbourne (today if virgin blue can get it’s stuff sorted) and this very farm is on the trip agenda. My secret plan is that my kids with go to this farm with their favorite aunt (my sister, who along with my brother are reason that we are coming to Melbourne) while me and partner escape and do some shopping
But will I be able to resist the delights of small children enjoying farm animals?
Oh, I didn’t know you were in Melbourne. I used to love the CCF, but haven’t been in the longest time. They have a wonderful evening bonfire at the Winter Solstice. Last time we went our picnic was nearly eaten by a 35 year old donkey! I wonder if she’s still alive?
There is a thing called the St Kilda Adventure Playground which used to be the Greatest Treasure Ever for both kids and parents, I hear it’s become a bit sanitised since a different management took over. It had a pergola full of comfortable armchairs and couches and newspapers and coffee making facilities in the kitchen, and the stuff in the playground was completely over and above what you’d get in an ordinary one. I must blog it sometime.
Wow! your children were so cute and even the animals at the farm. It’s very relaxing being in a nice city farm… Lovely blog!!!!
