Lauca,
That you fell over so many times during your first time ice-skating is not surprising, that you stayed so good-humoured about it the entire time was kinda surprising.
I am so proud of you for the persistence you showed. You fell over a lot. Your clothes were dripping wet by the end of it and you must have been very cold. Sometimes you fell over and just couldn’t get upright so you had to crawl across the ice through the crowd to the railing, sometimes I couldn’t even help you up because I was laughing too much. And the entire time, not a speck of disintegration, just a cold wet bundle of adorableness.
I think I worked out that we are averaging our monthly mother-daughter days about once every six months, to a year – you’re also terribly good-humoured about that! Thank you. I don’t know why I’m so bad at organising these days with you when they’re always so lovely.
Thank you for being excited with me about ice-skating in the middle of the city.
Your Mummy.
xx

Sometimes they surprise you like that. Those sometimes are some of my most treasured memories. I need to make more time to make those memories too.
You made me tear up! That is all!
Oh wow, congratulations! May you have many more mother-daughter dates like that.
