Looking at my archives it appears I obsess rather a lot about evening walks. Self, insight.
By the end of the day when you’re totally over it? Get out and walk with the kids.. and keep walking until it is a respectable hour to go home and start drinking*.
* Sorry about my shameful attitudes towards alcohol. What can I say? I am Australian.

The rule of thumb in our house is not to pour a drink until the potatoes are boiling. ‘Potatoes’ as symbol for having dinner mostly organised and cooked and within 20 minutes of being served and on the table.
