Yeah, this reminds me of the discussion we had about that rapper who suddenly decided not to be a misogynist when he had a girl baby.
But I must say, lots of the comments are lovely.
The long, long, long thread re: “my daughter actually farts” is kind of hilarious. And Tamara’s right: a lot of the comments are lovely, overall.
But the Jezebel critique is completely valid. It does kind of bother me that some of these guys didn’t think of women as people before they had a tiny, helpless one to protect and provide for.
