Daily Life has put up a list of the best 25 of their stories for women this year.. and I was delighted to find one of mine – Complaining about motherhood – has been included. Hooray.
A quick note about Daily Life. This site has proudly supported feminist writing, including mine, while also being part of the mainstream media (ie. Fairfax) and they have managed in their first year of launching to do that so well that they are the highest read women’s website in Australia. Who says feminism is dead?

I’ve known the name of this blog for years because of Hoyden about town, but I’d never seen any reason to read a blog about motherhood. Then I clicked on the link to the Aeon article a few weeks ago and ended up reading and reading and reading your thoughtful, clever, witty writing. It’s been really entertaining and it’s made me think a lot over the past few weeks about motherhood as it relates to everything else.
