Oh yes, and don’t read the comments.
I didn’t listen to you. I was all like “how could anyone possibly have bad comments on this post.” Then I read them. Should have listened to you. But this post is ADORABLE.
I peeked at the comments (but I didn’t inhale).
The bad comments may have been replaced by better ones now. There were a couple claiming that some disorder was involved (I agree with the ones that say it’s called being three) and there are plenty of ‘my three year old does this…’ comments which are funny and bring back memories of having a three year old. nah the comments had me laughing! would be a great return post :46 reasons this adult is freaking out
I have to admit that I found the comments as funny as the post, but for different reasons, obviously. I have to admit, as the parent of a 13 month old, this post also filled me with a little bit of dread. I know that with every stage there are wonderful developments and moments, but yikes.
the great thing about a 3 year old, as opposed to an infant, is often you can just let them freak out for a while, and after it’s over they’re pretty easy to communicate with.
Not that this helps when they’re freaking out in public and someone’s giving you the death glare for not magically stopping it. But I found the toddler and preschool tantrums and freakouts a lot more like adult freakouts, and that made them easier for me to suffer through.
Love it!
