I haven’t posted over the last couple of days because a) this site needed some maintenance and I was putting off that tedious task by ignoring the site’s very existence and, b) a mother-lode of books I bought arrived and I’ve been in reading heaven, and c) we’ve been having lots of sex couple time. While I complete my next post, which will have much more feminism, much more motherhood (I’m sure)… here is a thrilling insight to my weekend, from Lauca’s point of view anyway.
We went for a picnic and then a 2 km rainforest bushwalk. I was amazed Lauca did the whole bushwalk by herself (No carry, walk self), frankly I was amazed I was doing the bushwalk by myself. I was amazed she led that rabbit on wheels the whole way with her. Its wheels are noisier than you think. No wonder rabbits aren’t allowed in Australian national parks.
I was amazed by the little story she made up about that little rabbit, but less so after hearing it for the 30th time in a row during the bushwalk –
Peter Rabbit walked up, up, up to the sky. Hahaha. Oh dear, Peter Rabbit.
Judging from the photo our picnics are pretty casual affairs, basically tear off a piece of baguette and lie on the grass and eat.
