The party season is underway with a vengeance here, and this year even my enthusiasm for parties is managing to be tested. We are experiencing an overwhelming combination of adult and kid Xmas parties and adult and kid birthday parties in the one season. Who knew the kindergarten set was so damn social?
In more vacuous news from me.. I received my first and probably only Xmas card of the year (I have had to do quite a bit of work on myself in the past to come to terms with the fact that my friends and family are not Xmas card senders).. and I have no idea who it is from. Not only that, the card is hand-made, addressed to my full name, and signed with love from the sender. How bad a friend am I? I have wiped someone entirely from my memory who actually feels ‘love’ if not love for me?
Ha! I know it’s a busy season and in general just for my little family with my daughter and mom’s dbay, our anniversary and yes, the holiday parties. Here’s hoping you can keep the holiday spirit alive!
That sucks you don’t get many christmas cards! I just love getting them. I hope you still send them though – you might inspire others, even if it takes years upon years.
Thanks for you recent comment to my little blog. I’ve been reading yours for awhile now, so it’s neat to see you pop over 😉
Merry Christmas! 🙂
wow – what an awesome dress she’s wearing! I’d totally like to wear something like that.
I think the total permission to live in empire-waisted dresses may be the thing I miss most about the fashion side of pregnancy.
Totally love the dress she is wearing!
