Lauca: Mum shouldn’t leave the baby by himself to sleep.
The Father: Our bedroom is his bedroom too, he takes his naps there because it is a quiet place to sleep.
Lauca: When he wakes up he wants to see someone. Mum should be with him.
The Father: Well, he is with us all night, and during the day she goes straight to him as soon as he wakes up.
Lauca: Just hopeless.
LOL! Thanks for sharing that ๐ What a compassionate little person you’re raising.
They’re so helpful aren’t they? Presumably you have nothing you have to do during naptimes so you could just lie there watching him for when he wakes up.
My son has taken to greeting me when I get home from work with the phrase “Mum, you come back?”, he also potters around with his toys repeating “Mum come back, Mum come back”, as if there’s always a chance I wont.
I get “You didn’t hurt me!” in a surprised tone when I help her get dressed (she has recently had a nasty ear infection that left her with a very sensitive outer ear).
Yes sweetheart, I managed to hold off my savage mother tendencies for yet another day.
Is she sure he doesn’t need his older sister while he sleeps? Preferably also asleep next to him? ๐
However did you parent Lauca without such helpful insights?
Haha! His great protector! No one will ever mess with him with Lauca around, I can see it already…. ๐
That is so funny. Don’t you love that sort of feedback. I get that all the time – totally relate!
p.s. Cat and Baby photos very very cute.
What a smart and loving person, so adorable!
Um, no. First part – adorable. Second part – needs to be called on it, as we say.
Haven’t succeeded in quelling the smartarse remarks from mine, I should say, though.
