Me: Are you speaking nicely to Mummy?
Lauca: Oh sorrysorry, it is just that I am bursting to do art and when I feel like that it can make me grumpy.
At the exhibition of hyper-realist sculptor, Ron Mueck. A perfect Saturday; just her and I and a whole string of art galleries. (We found our antidote and salve, and an enormous baby).
Oh, I’m so jellus you went to this. also that Lauca gets to go to stuff like this at age 5. but then, I guess you get to live in melbourne, so I’m just generally jellus about that!
I love that she was bursting to do art! I know it’s not your thing, but I would love to have a kid that was into art and craft… I loved all that stuff when I was a kid and getting back into it now.
I LOVE art, just not as keen on craft. But I have come to love it more with having a child who loves it so much and I thought it was adorable that being in an art gallery was making her “bursting to do art”. I know what she means.
Oh that’s lovely then 🙂
Cute.
That exhibit was in my hood last year (Canada) but I didn’t go because I was very pregnant and TERRIFIED of the giant baby.
Not as cute as your baby.
It seems only the blink of an eye since Cormac was that size, now look at him.
What a great looking art exhibit! Wish I had the change to visit this but thank you for sharing these photos!
