Would more black women like their natural hair? Would more white women stop asking if they can touch it?

I want Barbie No. 2!
Any of those Barbies would be awesome. They look fabulously fierce, like they wouldn’t take crap from anyone, unlike Typical Barbie, who is positively insipid.
Interesting thing about dreads: I’m a white woman with dreads and everyone wants to touch them, too. It always seems such a strange request…
What is it with the whole asking if you can touch it thing?? It would never in a million years occur to me to ask to touch somebody’s hair – either i know somebody well enough to touch their hair without (specifically) asking, or I don’t – in which case what a weird thing to ask! Maybe it’s just because I’m hyper-sensitive about my personal space generally (no, knocking my elbow repeatedly with your bag because you have moved in just too frickin’ close to me will not make this line go faster so BACK OFF before I bust some karate on your bottom!), but, no…just no.
They are (would be) fabulous dolls – but what’s with every single one having light eyes?
wollythinker, blacks have light eyes too i happen to be one
Sure, I know some do, and it’s beautiful. But unusual, so – why *every single one*? Aren’t dark eyes also lovely and worth celebrating in doll form, along with natural African hair?
Yess. It will be so gracious…it is time we stop hiding behind the truth…even if others do not want to invest in me(black queen) I must continue to be me(black queen) & continue to see results of me(black queen). We live in this world too, God made us too
