I never got any hassle for breastfeeding in public. On the other hand. lots of my friends that bottle-fed (for one reason or another) were glared at, told they were ruining their children, and other fun things. I just wish we could all get along…

Weeeeeell…. my pie chart would need a little slice of green, too. I never choose when to feed my baby to make a political statement, but when I do feed him in public, I make other choices that are related to activism – not covering my breast if I’ve gone shirt-down style, not covering my belly if I’ve gone shirt-up, not rushing to cover up my nipple if he pops off to look around, not tucking myself away in some corner so the fewest people possible can see, etc. If Beezelbub happened to appear, I’d probably get a kick out that, too.
