That was a fantastic speech. I read the transcript, and wasn’t sure, but then I watched it with my kids, and they stopped reading their books and really listened to it (Monty Python references helped). I hope it does become one of the most important speeches of our time, I fear it will be lost in the partisan was Whitlam a good guy or a bad guy that is mostly what the coverage has become.
